Verses Of the Day
- Galatians 5:16 – But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh (ESV)

Life Indicators
The low battery notification on our phone warns us of the risk of missing important calls until we recharge. Similarly, the smoke alarm alerts us to the danger of a fire, and ignoring it could lead to peril. The red light in traffic signals the potential for accidents and fines if disregarded. Just as our parents’ rules protected us in childhood, these life prompts aim to keep us safe. Yet, in our spiritual journey, are we heeding the signs from God? Psalm 32:8 encourages walking with God for His guidance, reminding us that those led by the Spirit are His children (Romans 8:14)
Remember…
The Bible says that the enemy roams like a lion seeking who to devour. That we battle not against flesh and blood but with principalities, powers, and wicked spirits in the heavenly realm. This goes to show that we don’t get to even pick our fights rather it comes to us. How can we fight these battles if we don’t have a guide? only when we are in God and meet him in prayer that His Spirit guides us to win this battle. In prayer, our spirits are recharged to ignite God’s nature in us, and if He doesn’t show us the way then He is definitely doing the battle for us.
Promptings of the Holy Spirit
Have we been disregarding these prayer prompts? Have there been moments after church when we felt a strong urge to pray, only to be distracted? Have we encountered messages or songs that stirred our spirituality and prompted prayer, yet we let other things take priority? These are instances of the Spirit reaching out to us, yet we often ignore them, akin to spiritual abortions. The Holy Spirit gently nudges us, but we often dismiss these prompts. Our world is like a chess game, with spiritual forces directing moves that may not always make sense to us. While the enemy seeks to harm us, the Holy Spirit has a plan for our well-being and positive outcomes (Jeremiah 29:11).
The Approach of The Spirits
The enemy’s great plan comes with different distractions either from TV programs, newspapers, social media, or humans in our lives. All of these are perfectly orchestrated with enticing activity to draw us away from God. The Holy Spirit’s message is simple and, in His gentility, he doesn’t force us rather he prompts us to read the bible, pay attention to what God is saying, and separate ourselves from the world once in a while to have intimacy with God and by doing so we fight the battle on our terms. Jesus Christ perfectly demonstrated this to us. On many occasions, Jesus separated himself to a lonely place to pray.
Relationship With God
There is a difference between praying to God for needs and praying to God because you know he is the author and finisher of your faith. A lover does not only call his lover only when there is a need. Rather out of his busy schedule, to show his love and faithfulness to the relationship. Our walk with God should transcend to a level of love not needs. Mysteries of life are much bigger than daily bread and wine. Prayer is preached everywhere but most times we choose to ignore the signs. Let’s remember that the signs we ignore have consequences. The headaches we ignore today might lead to more complicated health issues
And For You My Dear Youth
The Bible is filled with spiritual power, and when you immerse yourself in it, you’ll live in this world but not be controlled by its ways. Importantly, you’ll live according to your beliefs because Jesus taught that even a tiny faith can move mountains. He didn’t say to pray to the mountain but to speak to it. This means that when you align with God through prayer, you can overcome obstacles. The devil, being cunning, tries to distract you from God because distance from God weakens your power. Therefore, strive to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit starting today.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we express gratitude for guiding us with love and compassion. Your corrections are gentle and kind. Grant us the awareness to recognize how you are calling us to grow, and give us the courage to embrace change. We cherish this time with you, Lord, and we humbly ask you to speak to us, work through us, and transform us according to your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen
Overcoming Addiction
I write to you, young men and women, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one (ESV 1 John 2.14)
Remain Blesses Always
